Histiocytoma is a type of benign skin growth in dogs, but it doesn’t appear to exist in cats. 

Very rarely, cats can be affected by a disease with a similar name called Histiocytic Sarcoma. This is a different disease that tends to appear in several places, including internal organs. Skin lumps in cats are more likely to be cancerous and should always be checked by a vet.
