The closest disease to elbow dysplasia in cats may be medial humeral epicondylitis (MHE). This is a very rare disease that occurs when mineral deposits develop around the elbow joint. Nerve compression can occur when large quantities of mineral deposits accumulate. These deposits may cause severe pain and often surgery is necessary.
